(Lady Amber's Tours) presents "THE VIRGIN CHARMER" by Rachel A. Olson Release Day Blitz Tour 10/31

Title: The Virgin Charmer (The Triple Goddess Trilogy: Book One)

Author: Rachel A Olson

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Blitz Host:  Lady Amber's Tours

Hope Richards has only ever known the life of a big city girl. When her boss gives her an ultimatum, she

decided to try out the country life during her forced vacation. After falling in love with a mysterious old

mansion on the edge of a town that time forgot, Hope finds herself caught up in a whirlwind of someone

else's crazy love obsession, and realizes in the middle of it all how lacking her own life is in that department.

Hope is faced with a decision: return to the mundane life she thought was her passion, or find a way to

experience something far stronger that she secretly yearns for.

Somewhere amidst her forty-hour job and playtime with her three-year-old, Rachel finds time to walk

the streets of worlds only existing on manmade paper. She resides in small college town Northwestern

Nebraska with her young son, just a few blocks from a city park, the public schools, and her parents.

She enjoys socializing with adults, sipping strawberry wine, and head banging to music that doesn't

carry a beat worth the effort of rock star hair slinging.

"The paranormal world is a much more desired realm. There's no limit to possibilities, no comparison

to probabilities, no concept of actualities. There's no solid platform for racism, judgment, or hierarchy.

It is exactly the manifestation you choose it to be, darkness and death included."

“I think we should get a drink before we start Q and A.” The sound of Abigail’s voice made Hope

jump enough to bump her knees on the table. Her tone was ice cold, sending prickly chills down

Hope’s spine. She only nodded, certain that questioning how Abigail could be so dead about something

involving her own brother would be a bad idea.

Abigail snapped her fingers in the air two times, and the man behind the bar immediately jumped on

command. The closer he got, the stronger the pull became that Hope had felt previously. He walked

with his face downcast, most likely watching where he stepped in an attempt to avoid tripping on

anything or anyone. When he finally reached their table, Hope was in the middle of scrambling away,

utterly terrified by what she was feeling. As soon as she caught sight of his face, her chair tipped back

with her still in it.

Hope found herself sprawled out on a grubby wooden floor that didn’t look like it’d been swept in

several days. Her sweater had somehow tangled itself around and between her knees, making any

attempt she made to stand look very similar to a fish out of water.

Hope stopped all futile attempts to stand independently when a very masculine hand jabbed itself in

front of her nose. With large, crossed eyes, she gasped and managed to scoot away from the floating

hand by a few measly inches. A deep, silky chuckle rolled across languid airwaves and nearly choked

Hope with its thick perfume. Hope glanced up through half mast eyes at the blurred face hovering just

beyond the floating hand, and smiled crookedly, one eyebrow popping up a hair higher than the other.

Another bout of chuckling ensued just as something lifted Hope to her seat.

“...Bump her head?”

Hope was only grasping portions of surrounding conversation. Her head swam through an enervated,

unknown substance, causing a reaction similar to that of narcotics. She tried to shake herself and clear

her mind, but whatever it was, it insisted on clinging tightly to every inch of her, inside and out.

“Do you mind telling me what your nose is doing on my boyfriend?” Hope was ripped from her strange

trance when a cold, bony little hand landed abruptly on her shoulder. Her eyes flew open, finding that

her nose was indeed buried into the chest of a man.

No, not just any man. The man. The one that was causing the pull.

“Holy shit,” she muttered to herself, stuck in the glistening eyes of a man several years younger than

herself. She was fully aware of the stares she was earning, as well as a perfectly annoyed Abigail

behind her. She was also aware that, at that particular moment, she didn’t have the willpower to pull

away from the younger man directly in front of her, or whatever it was that possessed her.

Slowly, Mr. Gloriously Addictive stepped away from her snout, swallowing loudly as he did. Hope

could hear Abigail impatiently tapping her foot on the floor. The further he got from her, the stronger

she felt. Finally, Hope managed to turn a bit to look at Abigail over her shoulder, knowing her cheeks

would match the color of unfriendly fire. She opened her mouth to apologize, and the next thing

she knew, she was falling face first toward the table. Abigail clumsily caught her full weight, gently

lowering her into the nearest chair. Hope opened a single eye, finding the bartender entirely too close

for comfort, and no doubt the cause of her sudden lack of leg control and balance.

He was frowning at her, probably just like Hope frowned at him. Abigail popped up out of nowhere

next to him, the man that was yet to own a name, offering Hope a crystal clear glass of liquid heaven.

She swallowed a mouthful, expecting it to slide down like the cool, refreshing water it should’ve been.

Except it wasn’t water, and it ignited the very fires of hell in her throat and belly.

“Sorry,” Abigail winced as Hope coughed and sputtered. “I should’ve told you it was Vodka. Your

weird dizzy spells and swooning had me convinced you were in desperate need of a hard drink.” Hope

only offered a half smile, practically glaring up at the man still standing entirely too close to her. “Oh

jeez, my manners ran away with my good mood. This is Garrett, my boyfriend.” Garrett offered a

friendly hand to shake, but Hope just stared at it. She was more concerned about the close proximity

of that hand, and why his very presence made her feel like her skeleton had decided to take a vacation

without the rest of her.

“I think I need some fresh air,” Hope finally managed to announce.

After nearly a year and a half of grieving the loss of her husband, twenty-seven year old Alexa Sullivan Tate is headed back to her hometown after a decade of being away. She has no idea her high school crush, Jace McAllister, the guy who stole her heart the same night that he broke it, is more than ready to pick up the pieces. Jace has spent the last ten years in the Army defusing bomb after bomb, trying to forget the girl who ignited all his passions. Little does he know that the spark still exists. Ten years ago they had smoldering chemistry, but the spark between them now might light a fuse that leads to an explosion even Jace can't stop. Not that he wants to. If only Alexa can get past her guilt and trust her heart again. But how do you put it all on the line when you've already lost everything once before? *While this is a series, each book will be standalone with spinoff characters.
I nod, and she makes her way down the hall that I now see is lined with photographs. My stomach tightens, but I figure that I need to get this over with if I’m going to be staying here. I walk towards them, stopping at the first picture. I’m guessing it’s from the day they first met, the time she told me about, because she’s giving him a playful frown while he’s grinning at her like he’s already half in love with her, which, to be honest, he probably was. I feel a slight twinge as I take in the picture, knowing that at that moment he had no idea how short of a life he was going to have with her. Hell, he probably wouldn’t have even cared, as long as he had her while he could. Shaking the thought out of my head, I browse each one. There are candid shots of them mixed throughout professional ones from events such as her graduation, Sierra and Jeremy’s wedding, and what looks like an engagement party. As I pass each picture, it’s becoming more real to me that she had a whole separate life before we reconnected. Strangely, I’m not bothered by it, seeing how happy she looks in these pictures, even though it was with another man and not me. I’ll admit that I was a little worried when she told me about their fighting, but looking at these pictures? I know Ty made her a happy woman, and I’m grateful that she had that while she could. Do I wish it had been me? Fuck yes, but what can you do? Coming to the last picture, I’m breathless as the image of Alexa in a wedding dress enters my vision. I’m moving in for closer inspection when she comes out of her room, stopping when she catches me. Her hand covers her mouth as she closes her eyes for a split second. She swallows hard before walking towards me. She reaches out her hand as if to touch my arm before pulling it back, obviously thinking better of it. “Jace, I… This is probably awkward, I’m sorry. I just… I wasn’t expecting you, and I don’t…” She trails off as she stares at the wall, glancing at the picture before turning her eyes towards the floor.

About the Author
I'm a twenty six year old book junkie who is also obsessed with sports. Bengals, Buckeyes, Reds are my teams! I work for the government during the day, hang out with Air National Guard on the weekends, and am married to a guy 15 inches taller than me. We're quite the pair! We currently live right outside of Dayton, OH with our two cats. I've been reading since I was a kid. My mom was a librarian, so it was a given. Heck, she even made sure we watched Wishbone instead of the Smurfs. In 2011 when I graduated from college, my mom bought me a Nook, and then in the summer of 2012 I found this amazing site called Goodreads. I was introduced to so many amazing indie/self-published authors. After reading almost 400 books that year, my husband gave me the push to finally sit down and write my own. It was a rocky start, but over time the words started flowing and I couldn't get Jace and Lexi out of my head. If I’m not writing or looking through tons of photos of hot men, all in the name of research, then you can probably find me curled up with my Kindle, ignoring the rest of the world. I love my sports almost as much as I love my books. My other obsessions include red wine, hot men, country music, and all things Grace Potter. I LOVE to hear from readers, so please feel free to contact via any social media site listed below.

I have always loved writing, telling stories, and the idea of dreaming big because where I come from, you dream big or you don't dream at all. I'm a full-time author with my slightly insane cat, Juey, who is always happy to keep me company as he so often thinks he can lay on my keyboard to "assist" my writing. I write stories because life wouldn't be as fun without the occasional break from reality.

I am the author of the YA paranormal romance Flightless Bird series, the mature YA/New Adult paranormal romance Fighting Fate series and many more stories to come. When I'm not writing it's either because I ran out of iced tea, I'm out

“Kaddy, wait.” I heard Mike trailing me as I turned out of the Wheel Barrel.

I pressed a hand to my temple and sighed. “Yeah?”

“You okay? I know you didn’t get a lot of sleep last night.” Mike scratched the back of his head and looked down at me, worried. “Maybe some lunch will help.”

“What I need is sleep, and what needs to happen is for me to stop having these stupid night terrors.” I leaned back against the hot brick building for a moment.

“You can’t help it. It’s not your fault.” Mike leaned on his shoulder next to me, his hands deep in his apron pockets.

“I know, but I hate it. Why can’t they stop?” I smacked my hand to my forehead and sighed. Against my palm, my skin felt too warm. Was I getting sick? Great. It was the last thing I needed. “Do I feel warm to you?” I dropped my hand and looked over at Mike, giving him permission to touch me with a simple confirmation from my eyes.

Slowly raising his arm, the back of his hand pressed against my cheek. “Damn, Kaddy. You’re burning up! Do you feel all right?”

I shrugged. I did feel all right, just a little warm. “I feel fine. I need some sleep. Promise to plan on going to bed early tonight?” I doubted he would keep this promise. He and I always stayed up late writing music.

Mike got a playful glint in his eye. “You know I’m a night owl. No promises there.”</ span>

I sighed and rolled my eyes. “We both are.”

Mike still had his hand pressed against my cheek until it shifted up to tug his gray beanie down on my forehead. “Maybe it’s just my awesome hat that’s making you overheat. Who wears a beanie in August?” he joked and I playfully scowled at him as I readjusted the knitted beanie.</ div>

“Oh, I’m sure that’s it,” I laughed and gave him a gentle punch on the arm.

“Whoa.” He took a step back. “You been working out or something? That hurt.” Mike held his upper arm like I had socked it with everything I had. I stood there waiting with my “really?” look and raised my eyebrows in anticipation for his mischievous face to appear. If Mike was anything, he was a jokester. Just like I expected, a few seconds later, he cracked a smile on his lips and started laughing.</ span>

“You always think your little jokes are hilarious!” Even when I rolled my eyes, I couldn’t stop his infectious laughter from causing me to laugh.

“Kadster, we know I tell the best jokes. I eat sarcasm for breakfast every day.” He winked and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. I didn’t shy from his touch.

“So do I, but no one but you find anything I say funny.” I looked up at him as he walked me to the corner of the block, the direction of home. Only Mike called me the Kadster. Actually, he had a lot of nicknames for me and I didn’t mind it. He was one of the few I would let getaway with calling me things other than my name.

“It’s because everyone is just jealous of the awesome friendship we’ve had since we were eight. Haters gonna hate.” He shrugged and his other hand pretended to dust off his shoulder. Mike was the only friend I counted on for anything. Long ago, we made a pact, and so far, he’s kept every word he promised to keep.

(LipSmackin GoodBooks) Presents "Boys Of The Summer" Blog Tour by C.J. Duggan 10/29 @CJ_Duggan

Title:  The Boys of Summer (Summer #1)

Author:  C.J. Duggan

Genre:  New Adult Contemporary Romance

Blog Host:  LipSmackin GoodBooks

It seemed only natural to nickname them the ‘Onslow Boys’. Every time they swaggered in the front door of the Onslow Hotel after a hard week’s work, their laughter was loud and genuine as they settled onto their bar stools. I peeked through the restaurant partition, a flimsy divider between my world and theirs. I couldn’t help but smile whenever I saw them, saw him ... Toby Morrison.

Quiet seventeen-year-old Tess doesn’t relish the thought of a summertime job. She wants nothing more than to forget the past haunts of high school and have fun with her best friends before the dreaded Year Twelve begins.

To Tess, summer is when everything happens: riding bikes down to the lake, watching the fireworks at the Onslow Show and water bomb fights at the sweltering Sunday markets.

How did she let her friends talk her into working?

After first-shift disasters, rude, wealthy tourists and a taunting ex-boyfriend, Tess is convinced nothing good can come of working her summer away. However, Tess finds unlikely allies in a group of locals dubbed ‘The Onslow Boys’, who are old enough to drive cars, drink beer and not worry about curfews. Tess’s summer of working expands her world with a series of first times with new friends, forbidden love and heartbreaking chaos.

All with the one boy she has never been able to forget.

It will be a summer she will always remember.

Warning: sexual references, and occasional coarse language.

Riley walked away and took a few steps toward the river. With his back facing

me, he stood while looking at the waterfall. It was a beautiful scene—his tall, shirtless

body with his blonde hair tousled and gently blowing in the wind. He took another step

and surprised me by kicking off his boots. Then, he leaned down and rolled up his pant

legs. He jogged over to a cluster of large rocks, his footing quick and poised, and sat

with his bare feet dangling in the water.

I yelled out, "Is it safe to do that?"

He looked at me and laughed lightly. "Yeah, it’s safe. Do you think there are

piranhas or crocodiles in the river?" He continued to chuckle, and a toothy smile

broke free on my face. "Don't worry. There isn't anything deadly in these waters—just

harmless fish, frogs, and Northern Water snakes. They won't hurt you." He beckoned

to me. "Come over here and join me. The water is nice and cool." He kicked his feet,

making splashes in the water.

I was hesitant to join him, but the water intrigued me. I decided to trust him, so I

walked over to the rocks. They were flat, smooth, and slick. My steps were wobbly as

I tried to avoid getting a foot stuck in the cracks or slipping on the moss. Once I stood

next to him, he looked up at me with a wide smile. I removed my sneakers, peeled off

my socks, and rolled up my sweatpants. Riley was right. The water was pleasantly cool

and refreshing.

He kicked his feet again, this time making a bigger splash. I tried to outdo him,

but my smaller feet were no match for his large ones. We laughed together, but the

rushing water overpowered the harmonious sound.

I stole a glance at him while he looked at the river. He leaned back casually on his

elbows, and I couldn't help but admire his six-pack abs and toned chest. Little, brown

moles spotted his torso, and I imagined playing connect-the-dots with my tongue. His

skin enticed me, and I wanted to run my hands all over it. A lustful feeling washed over

me, and I swallowed thickly, averting my gaze.

Riley chuckled low in his throat, and I knew he caught me staring. His hand

touched my lower back, and I looked at him over my shoulder. A grin spread across his

lips as he tugged the shirt hem.

"This is my shirt, isn't it?" My eyes widened, and I whipped my head around. In

less than two seconds, my face flushed with heat.

"Um, yes," I mumbled. "Sorry. I borrowed it, because Quinn's clothes were too

small for me, and I didn't feel comfortable browsing through Celia's wardrobe." The

latter reason was a lie. I was just determined to cover myself with his clothes.

"No worries. I don't mind," he soothed. "You can borrow whatever you want.

What's mine is yours, love."

I turned my head slightly to peek at him, grateful his focus was still on the shirt.

I recalled the words he spoke earlier. "Let's say hypothetically I did stay here with you.

How would we be together when I'm human and you're a wolf?"

"If you're referring to us being biologically compatible, Máni and Freya blessed

us, so we can breed with humans."

His foot brushed against mine under the water. It came back a second time and

then a third. He sat up and scooted closer to me, until our thighs were touching. I looked

over at him and almost fell into his seafoam pools. I had to regain control before I did

something I would lean over and kiss those bee-stung lips.

Ezzie Lovegreen lives in a world where witches and ghosts are real. That doesn’t mean she’s not surprised when she’s suddenly being haunted by one at school.

With the help of her best friend Stella, her boyfriend Beau, and her grandmother Winifred, Ezzie must find out what happened to the ghost and set her free.

Secrets will be revealed that could change Ezzie’s life forever. Will Ezzie be strong enough to face the challenges set in her path?

Ezzie pulled her Range Rover behind her dad’s vehicle. Beau parked right behind her in

his truck. He was at her door in an instant and held a hand to help her out of the car.

Addelyn was waiting for them in the open doorway, a huge smile on her face, and

looking perfectly put together in a lavender shirt-dress and black heels.

“Why, Beau, you are getting so handsome. It’s been ages since we’ve had you over for

dinner. How’s your mama?”

Beau smiled and kissed the cheek she offered him. “Thank you, Mrs. Lovegreen. You

are looking as lovely as ever. Mama is great. I’ll tell her you asked after her.”

Addelyn nodded and turned back into the house. “Let’s go eat. Dinner should be ready

right about now.”

“I need to drop my stuff in my room. You can come, or go find my dad. I’m sure he’s in

his study.”

Beau gave her a look. “I think I’ll go with you.”

Heat bloomed in Ezzie's cheeks again. The look he had just given her was anything

but platonic. She smiled shyly and led him back to her room but stopped at the door.

He had never been in her room before. No boy ever had. This was new territory for her.

She shook herself mentally and stepped over the threshold into her room.

Beau stood in the doorway for a moment, looking around.

“You can come in,” Ezzie said softly.

He smiled and walked in, running his fingers across the surface of her desk.

“That was my grandfather’s.”

He nodded. “I remember seeing it in his study when we were kids.” Beau took a step

toward her. He bridged the gap between them with his hands, drawing her the last few

“Beau...” Her heart pounded in her chest.

He tipped her chin up and touched his lips to hers lightly. Ezzie lifted her hands up and

around his neck, pulling him closer to her. She pressed her lips more firmly against

his. She couldn't believe they were really having their first kiss in her bedroom with her

parents just down the hall. Beau’s fingers wove into her hair. He finally pulled away a bit

and laid his chin against her forehead, his arms still around her.

“Just so we’re clear, I want to be more than just your friend, Ezzie,” he whispered.

If Beau hadn’t been holding her up, she would have fallen to the floor. “I want to be

more than your friend too, Beau,” she breathed.

This was it. My new beginning. My new ending. </ span> I didn’t know what beheld my fate, but I sucked in a breath and stepped over the threshold. “Bon soir, esclave.” My eyes soared up to the first landing of a giant blue velvet staircase. Massive works of art hung like armament on gold gilded walls. </ span> A man in a grey chequered suit, with black shirt, silver tie, and slicked back hair watched me from the landing. His gaze unclothed me, terrified me. I stepped back, bumping against guard who didn’t let me go any further. He bent his head and whispered in my ear, his breath tickling my neck. “Say hello to your new master.”

Hogan is the only family she knows and life with him is brutal. And it's about to get worse. He sends her on a mission. On a mission to destroy the Hell's Knights and the Heaven's Sinners. Can she pretend with a club she doesn't know?</ span> Or will she betray Hogan?
Your hair must be worse than mine,” she giggles, pulling her lips from mine and tugging the thick, messy locks hanging over my shoulders. I grin. “Yeah.” “Any reason you keep it long?” she asks, using her fingers to untangle it. I shrug. “Just always been that way, so I figure it’s just easier to leave it there.” She continues tugging and pulling, until her fingers are gliding smoothly through it. “I like it,” she murmurs. “I’d like it even more if I could brush it.” I snort. “Ain’t gonna happen little darlin’.” She pouts, and I smirk, flicking her lip. “Don’t pout at me.” “It’s not un-manly to let a girl brush your hair.”</ span> “No,” I grin. “It’s just outright girly.” “It’s not!” “Is.” She gives me a lazy half smile, and then tugs at my hair again, until our lips are touching. Her stomach grumbles against mine. “Hungry?” I chuckle. She nods, stretching and shifting. “Yeah, but I think I need to shower more.” “You shower, I’ll get food.” She nods, grinning. “It sounds like a plan.” I crawl out of her bed, and sit on the side, ready to pull on my jeans when her hand reaches around, and her fingers curl around my soft c**k. It instantly jerks to life, swelling beneath her grips.
